About
Healthy Hounds Fitness Club

Healthy Hounds Fitness Club was founded by canine wellness expert Nicole Packin to redefine what it means to care for dogs.

After more than two decades in the pet care industry, Nicole saw the need for a program that went beyond traditional dog walking—one that focused on total canine wellness through fitness, enrichment, and love. Healthy Hounds Fitness Club was created to help dogs live longer, healthier, and happier lives through movement, adventure, and connection.

Our team of certified professionals shares a common goal: to bring out the very best in every dog we work with. We approach each session with positivity, patience, and purpose—celebrating progress, building confidence, and tailoring every experience to your dog’s unique needs.

At Healthy Hounds Fitness Club, we believe in partnership. We expect our clients to be as committed to their dog’s wellness journey as we are. In return, we promise exceptional communication, genuine care, and an unwavering dedication to helping your best friend thrive.

Because when dogs feel their best, life’s adventures are just beginning.

Nicole Packin,

CEO & HEAD COACH

Nicole Packin’s journey into the world of animal care began in Los Angeles, California.  After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Miami, she moved west to pursue a career in television, working with industry leaders such as William Morris Endeavor, Spelling Television, and Jerry Bruckheimer Television.  It was during this time that Nicole began volunteering with The Amanda Foundation, an animal welfare organization that would forever change the direction of her life.

Driven by her growing passion for animal welfare, Nicole returned home to Miami, Florida, to immerse herself in the field full-time.  She joined the Humane Society of Greater Miami, contributing to every aspect of the organization—from daily operations to major fundraising efforts.  She also played a key role in the capital campaign for the Soffer-Fine Adoption Center in North Miami Beach, helping to expand the organization’s reach and impact.

In 2007, Nicole founded Miami Pet Concierge, inspired by one powerful observation: many pets were surrendered not due to behavioral issues, but because their owners simply lacked time.  Determined to bridge that gap, she created a service dedicated to supporting pet parents through education, structure, and compassionate care.  Over the years, Miami Pet Concierge has grown into Miami’s most trusted and respected in-home pet care company, serving thousands of families and their beloved pets.

When Nicole and her family relocated to Plano, Texas, in 2021, she saw an opportunity to evolve her mission.  Drawing from over 20 years of hands-on experience, she recognized a common pattern among dogs — behavioral challenges often stemmed from an imbalance between physical exercise and mental stimulation.  To address this, she founded The Packin Method Mobile Dog Gym, blending her expertise in canine fitness, behavior, and bodywork to create a holistic wellness program.  Her innovative approach incorporates treadmill workouts, dog walking, massage, and bodywork to enhance dogs’ mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

Building on the success of The Packin Method, Nicole founded Healthy Hounds Fitness Club, a first-of-its-kind canine fitness and wellness-focused dog walking and adventure hiking service that brings customized exercise and enrichment directly to clients’ homes.  At Healthy Hounds, Nicole combines her deep knowledge of animal behavior, conditioning, and rehabilitation to create customized fitness programs that strengthen both body and mind. Her mission is to redefine pet care by focusing on preventative wellness, helping dogs of all ages—from energetic puppies to senior companions—achieve optimal health through movement, enrichment, and balanced exercise.

Nicole is married and the proud Momma to Kevin and Jenny (Italian Spinoni), Slater (a Russian Blue mix), and Freddie Freeman (a Betta fish).
